Role and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an Electrician (309) to join our team. The successful candidate must demonstrate their ability to think creatively when faced with a challenge, and provide practical solutions to technical problems. You will be expected to liaise with customers, engineer, and vendors, to understand problems and provide solutions focused on continuous improvement. An ideal candidate will have experience in the automation industry. Experience in robot or controls programming is preferred.


· Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

· Some knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and PLC programming.

· Must have some experience an electrical role including construction, panel building, or maintenance.

Job Description

  • Build, install, and, troubleshoot industrial automation equipment such as PLC’s, robots, vacuum systems, spot welders, MIG welders, and machine vision systems.

  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

  • Build, design, and install control panels that contain PLC’s, VFD’s, motor controls, IO systems, and industrial PC’s.

  • Design, built, and install industrial networking equipment.

  • All other duties as assigned by your supervisor and / or Manager.

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment.

  • Work with ESA inspectors.

  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through direct contact and coordination of company resources.

Experience and Education:

  • 5 years experience as a licensed 309A Electrician.

  • Manufacturing/Industrial experience is an asset.

  • PLC Programming knowledge/experience is an asset.

  • Able to lift weight of up to 50lbs.

  • Able to work in a warm/cold environment.

  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team.

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Possess strong interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Per hour: $35.00-$45.00 depending on experience.
