AI Vision Software

One platform. Infinite ways to see.

Jupiter is Ascension Automation’s native AI Vision software, supporting 2D color, 3D laser, stereovision, and near-infrared imaging with custom deep learning models.

We handle sensing, model development and training, PLC and robot integration, and deployment—delivering one accountable pipeline from feasibility to operational cell.

Defect-free manufacturing

Parts need to meet quality standards. If they don't, it costs time, money, and trust in your product. With manual quality control and standard camera technology, inspection results are susceptible to errors. Cameras only see one feature at a time, and inspections are limited by human capacity - meaning defects can slip through the cracks.

Powered by custom deep learning models, the Jupiter software pulls multiple inspection points from a single scan. Every feature receives a pass/fail output in real time, with results synced locally to your database or PLC so you retain complete control over your data. This isn't just a basic inspection tool - it's a completely custom quality assurance solution.

More than meets the eye

With Jupiter, each part gets a 360° inspection - faster and with more accuracy than a human quality specialist.

First, your part is scanned with micron-level precision using hardware curated to your line. Once a scan is finished, Jupiter generates a full point cloud of the part, so you can review every aspect of your part in extreme detail - not just one or two features at a time. Finally, we use industry-leading AI algorithms to determine in seconds which features do not meet your established quality standards.

The full pipeline owned end-to-end

The logic that surrounds a vision process is as important as the vision technology itself. We own it all - dataset, model, integration, and deployment, so inspection runs reliably on your shop floor, not just in our lab.
