Industrial Painter

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Painter to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for spray application: i.e., mask, sand, clean

• Clean and prepare shop areas

• Coat and paint a wide variety of substrates

• Complete in house projects, as well as travel to customer sites to complete projects as needed

• Clearly communicate completed tasks

• Demonstrate good housekeeping practices at all times to help maintain a safe work area;

• Experience operating general-purpose machine shop equipment (ie. Sanders, grinders etc.)

• Ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to work bent over for extended period of time

• Ability to work within a variety of temperatures cold and hot conditions

• Ability to do repetitive work

• Must have 5-10 years industrial and commercial painting experience

• Detail Oriented and sense of discipline

• Required to be clean shaven on a regular daily basis, for respirator fit purposes

• Must have a valid 'G' Licence. Employees may be expected to drive company vehicles from time to time

• Comply with company work and safety rules at all times and report all accidents, incidents and hazards immediately

• Experience with paint sprayers: conventional, Airless etc.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
