Roles and Responsibilities


We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Office Administrator to join our team. You will be expected to complete a broad variety of administrative tasks, working closely with the Automation Manager, Service Manager and Operations Manager. We are looking for an experienced individual with a keen eye for detail, can work independently, efficiently and in a time sensitive manner.


A strong candidate will demonstrate a solid ability to:

  • Assist in completing new supplier applications / documentation

  • Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting duties

  • Materials ordering

  • Organizing schedules

  • Corresponding with departments and management

  • Timesheet tracking and submission

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Core Skills


  • Proven ability to excel within a small working group and act as an effective team member of a larger organization;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with coworkers and contractors in a polite and friendly manner;

  • Excellent personal judgment, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability in order to multitask and prioritize duties while dealing with interruptions and competing deadlines;

  • Ability to take initiative to pro-actively identify potential problems or outstanding tasks, prepare required supporting information, and make recommendations so that tasks can be completed, or decisions can be made efficiently and effectively;

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

  • Strong communication skills

  • Flexible and adaptable as timelines and projects requirements change


Education:


  • 3 or more years of General Office Administration or General Office Administration Diploma/ Certification

  • Experience in the Automation Industry would be a major asset

  • Diploma in Business Administration

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

The range for this role is $23.00-$36.00 per hour.
