Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting content creation, lead generation, and email marketing for the brands within the Ascension Group of Companies. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing digital and print materials that positively impact brand recognition and lead generation while maintaining brand voice and tone. The Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop accurate, enriching, and engaging content that solidifies our brand positioning and addresses customer pain points. The successful candidate will be creative, curious, and an adept storyteller, ready to make an impact at a leading automation company.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Content creation: Produce blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, and other materials that are faithful to the brand voice and speak to customer pain points

• Lead Generation: Develop and write sales-optimized copy for digital and print environments

• Email Marketing: Manage audience and targeting, own email development from concept through to deployment, analyze and interpret insights

• Data & Analytics: Review and interpret relevant data and analytics

• Cross-Functionality: Liaise regularly with Marketing team and technical stakeholders, provide additional support to the Marketing and Sales teams as required

  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related discipline an asset

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with/proficiency in analytics tools & interpretation

• Working knowledge of SEO best practices

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva an asset

• Experience managing Google Ads an asset

• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Hybrid in Cambridge, ON

This is a contract position, with potential to extend to a permanent role.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
